__________________________________________ After four rounds our Juniors continue to provide positive results for the club, with the Under 16 A side leading the way. With a draw in the first round and two solid wins against strong opposition since, this team currently have a hold on second position on the ladder behind the strong Gisborne. This is a nice position to be at this early stage in the season, however as Rod and his group understand, the end of the season is more than 10 weeks away and they need to continue their current form to be any chance of featuring in the F..... - business end of the season (can't say "Finals" as we're only taking it one week at a time.). The UNDER 10'S also continue to provide tough competition to all of the opposition teams that they have come up against and with a win and a draw to their names, along with great performances in their other games (where they have led twice into the final quarter only to go down in very close games), they are no doubt going to continue to trouble sides that in the past have been much stronger than ours. Our under 12's, 14's and 16 B's continue to find it hard against very good opposition however all teams are still remaining positive to improve from their tough start to the season. Lets hope this week in front of a big home crowd the kids can turn their form around to come away with a win. |

___________________________________________ The Sunbury Kangaroos Junior Football club would like to wish all the mum's out there, particularly those associated with our junior footballers (who sacrificed part of their special day to watch their kids play footy) a very Happy Mothers Day. Many of our mums help out every weekend at the club and a special big thank you and group hug goes out to you. |

______________________________________________ A unexpected visitor was on hand to watch the Under 10's great victory at the first home game of the year for the club in 2012. Some called him "Kanga", some called him "Roo", whatever his name, his debut at the club helped fire up the crowd for what was a fantastic victory for our Joey's. In what we hope will be a permanent part of all Kangas home games, the clubs newest supporter was as energetic as the under 10 players at the start of their game and continued his enthusiasm throughout when he was seen getting involved in the club song in the rooms with the entire playing group. Lets hope he can help inspire all of our junior teams to victory throughout the season.
The newest club supporter celebrates the under 10's first victory in more than a year.
He's getting involved in singing the song as well - "SO JOIN IN THE CHORUS"
